Over Requiemz Breaks the Otome Formula With a More Personal Approach, Are You Ready?

RAVE OTONITY – Over Requiemz takes a noticeably different path from traditional otome games. Instead of encouraging players to constantly choose the answers most likely to impress a romantic interest, the game gives them greater freedom to shape the heroine’s personality. This design makes the experience feel closer to interactive roleplaying than a conventional dating simulation.
The story follows Yuhiru, a young woman whose life changes after a tornado transports her from Tokyo to the mysterious land of Oz. Her arrival immediately creates suspicion because of her unusual appearance, leading the inhabitants to view her as a dangerous or cursed outsider.
Yuhiru is eventually sentenced to death, but she receives an opportunity to escape that fate. She is sent alongside other condemned prisoners to explore dangerous ruins filled with monsters. These locations are particularly important because they are connected to her original world and may provide a path back to Tokyo.

Once the introductory portion is completed, players can explore the individual stories of five potential love interests. The darker side of Over Requiemz is also impossible to overlook. Some routes are explicitly categorized as “Dark,” with Molly’s storyline involving themes such as abuse and murder. Yandere-style outcomes and toxic or possessive behavior can also appear throughout the different paths, making the game more suitable for players comfortable with mature and disturbing themes.
