This project is part of an ongoing collaboration between AGBO and Netflix, which has previously produced films such as *The Gray Man* (2022) and *The Electric State* (2025).
“It’s an honor for us to continue our creative collaboration with Sam Hargrave, Chris Hemsworth, and this incredible team that has built an extraordinary action franchise and has proven to deliver films that truly stand out for audiences around the world,” said AGBO’s Chief Creative Officer, Angela Russo-Otstot.
So far, Netflix has kept the plot details of *Extraction 3* under wraps. However, judging by the previous two films, we can guess that Tyler Rake will never be assigned a truly “easy” mission. The story is still rooted in the graphic novel *Ciudad* by Ande Parks.
In the first film, Rake undertook a mission to rescue the son of a drug lord, which ended in betrayal. Meanwhile, in the sequel, he pulls himself back from the brink of death to rescue the family of a ruthless gangster from prison.
Given the success of the previous two films, which broke viewership records on Netflix, *Extraction 3* is projected to be one of the platform’s biggest releases in 2027.
